I have been involved in the treatment of clients with Eating Disorders, Trauma, Mood disorders and life adjustment issues for over 15 years. I incorporate creative arts therapies, internal family systems therapy and cognitive behavioral therapies in my approach to therapeutic healing. I work to combine evidence-based approaches with creative interventions while partnering with my clients to foster holistic healing. I specialize in the treatment of eating disorders, attachment and trauma-based disorders, body image issues and general life adjustment issues. I am a member of the International Association of Eating Disorder Professionals as well as the American Dance Movement Therapy Association. When working with clients with an eating disorder diagnosis, I consider myself part of a team which includes the client’s family or support system, a dietitian and medical team. My philosophical approach includes utilizing Family Based Treatment for children and adolescents, utilizing Intuitive Eating once stabilization has been achieved, and following the tenets of Health at Every Size. To learn more about my approach when working with clients please contact me.

I obtained my Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Oklahoma in Psychology. I went on to obtain my Master of Arts in Dance Movement Therapy and Counseling from Columbia College Chicago.
